The Barcelona Airport is the second most important airport in Spain and still growing.
According to year 2008 statistics, it handled an average of 83.000 passenger per day. This may be a good reason to grow!
The new terminal T1 will be full operative from October 2009 and will probably handle over 70% of Barcelona Airport flights.

  • The only problem I can see with this airport is that it's very large which usually means it's confuing for tourists visiting Barcelona on a vacation by airplane.
