I've had at least 25 surgeries. My first one was at 4 weeks old. I was born with Glaucoma in both eyes. Lens implants, Cornea transplants (3 in my left eye which is FAR worse than my right) which all failed, tube implants to reduce pressure, cataract surgery, stitch removal...the list goes on. Right now I am at risk for retinal detachment. I understand how this girl feels...but at the same time, I have no idea.
