For those who dont know, Theo Jansen is a kinetic sculptor who created this mechanism to make living sculptures, his so called "strandbeests"(beach animals). The real ones(not my simulation) are powered by wind only and have a small artificial intelligence that doesnt use eletricity. If ur interested on his work, watch these videos:

  • (Minecraft)

  • With that, you can construct a cool Creeper

  • that thing totally freakes me out!

  • cool.

  • It's actually very hard to make. since it has no resting state in which the limbs are all straight, like all the other fun walkers you see. I tried for a long time, and kept failing.

  • Epic

  • if you want a download link pm me I've made one too

  • for a few months i tried to figure it out and i got it

  • @kamakazi612 Yes. This robot in real life actually runs on wind power and kinetic energy and once it starts, it keeps going and going. This one on phun runs, yes, with one motor. I don't think phun has a good enough physics engine for quality kinetic motion.
