@ciscou you must understand that when under water, there is fear and also lack of oxygen make ur brain to react slower

not speed cubing but being able to solve them is awesome. i like to just use beginner algorithms

you should still go to competitions, as long as you can solve the cube in less than ten minutes, there was one guy who solved it in 3 minutes! you really should go if one is near you

No short term damage and it's been a year or more since I did the video with no signs of problems. It's just plastic. I do use petroleum to lube my rube's when I get them.

Ok, I am down to about 1:30 to solve it and think about making a new underwater video. The plan is to use a series of Juicy-Juice bottles tubes together, weighed down by rolls of pennies to give a couple minutes of air to easily solve it. Slower than most but more interesting underwater rig. 8-) Maybe in the summer.

the idea of solving the cube underwater is amazing, so for that i give u props! :)
but you should have tried to do it faster so u wouldn't have to go up for air.
also how do you stay on the floor of that pool, i always float back up!

In most cases I breath out my air. I can stay down for 90 seconds but it takes more like 2:30 for me to solve the cube. I knew that I'd be up for air a few times but wanted to do it anyway. I'll never be in competition for the cube, just have fun with it.
