Did this for fun, yes underwater. Here's the diving bell that I used to film it.

  • can you put a normal Rubiks cube with stickers underwater without any damage?

  • No short term damage and it's been a year or more since I did the video with no signs of problems. It's just plastic. I do use petroleum to lube my rube's when I get them.

  • You are supposed to solve it in one single dive :P

    Nice video, though

  • Ok, I am down to about 1:30 to solve it and think about making a new underwater video. The plan is to use a series of Juicy-Juice bottles tubes together, weighed down by rolls of pennies to give a couple minutes of air to easily solve it. Slower than most but more interesting underwater rig. 8-) Maybe in the summer.

  • the idea of solving the cube underwater is amazing, so for that i give u props! :)

but you should have tried to do it faster so u wouldn't have to go up for air.

also how do you stay on the floor of that pool, i always float back up!

  • In most cases I breath out my air. I can stay down for 90 seconds but it takes more like 2:30 for me to solve the cube. I knew that I'd be up for air a few times but wanted to do it anyway. I'll never be in competition for the cube, just have fun with it.

  • @ciscou you must understand that when under water, there is fear and also lack of oxygen make ur brain to react slower

  • not speed cubing but being able to solve them is awesome. i like to just use beginner algorithms

  • you should still go to competitions, as long as you can solve the cube in less than ten minutes, there was one guy who solved it in 3 minutes! you really should go if one is near you

  • Your vid is very nicely filmed, try one breath next time...

(i did one breath solve 63secs)

  • @etherpimp use silicone not vasoline!!!

  • Lol! Cool idea =D Im going to try this myself =p haha

  • yh is saw that

  • you couldn't hold your breath underwater, is this your fastest time
