i saw him last year. there were about 6 of us in the bar when he did his soundcheck, and his sound check was brilliant. then he went out, got smokin' trashed, and proceeded to do a pretty lousy show.

I just wish we could get him to come to Israel though I fear u and I will be the only ones in the audience...= )

Oh cool... I've only seen Buckner twice. The first time was at Canal St. Tavern here in Dayton in 2000.
I'd be very happy to be wrong on all this... It was still a great show.
The opener, Joe Anderl, is an aquaintance of mine. Cool guy.

Yeah man, I was at this show... It was 7/28 at the Nite Owl in Dayton.
Before his set started, he came up onstage... and seemed to be really agitated about something. He pretty much just dropped his guitar on the floor and went to the little "green room"... About 10 minutes later he came back out and did his set.
"Souvenier" and "Lucky Buzz" were the highlights for me that night.

What was up with him coming on stage to tune up, getting pissed, and then dropping his guitar and storming off before his set even started?
