  • Hey I really don't know much about the music world. What do you mean by "using an amp"

  • @DeMichaelSuperFan

Headphone amp make all the different, it kind of like driving sport car with unleaded gasoline, but with premium headphone, it can unlock hidden sound but it is very - very expensive (try to buy battery one, more portable). try to google this headphone amp:Grado RA1 Reference Headphone Amplifier (Battery Power)

  • i hope he replies to this ...

but even now two years down the line , for the same price range would you recommend these headphones ?

And also ,, how loud are the Grado's For OTHER People , because i dont want to be annoying family members with music when im in a seperate room .

    Thanks :) Appreciate any replies.

  • @TheGenetic1

These headphone are very load, similar to cheap laptop speaker (sound leak from headphone). I am currently using Sennheiser hd650, that headphone is so loud during usage that I can't even listen to them at night.

  • The guy knows that it's 'grado', look at the description. It's just his pronunciation. He also clearly states that these are the 'i' version. Why be so negative when he's only trying to provide a helpful review?

  • Great review, and keep working on your English - you are doing a good job

  • Excellent Review.

  • I'm deciding between these and the HD650's. I appreciate your review and your English is great, if you try talking slower you might be able to find the right words easier :D. Keep up the good work.

  • Awesome review, thanks dude!!!

  • I'm really considering a pair of these, your review is helpful-thank you!!

  • @HARDCOREUITHETZUIDEN prolly won't be so bad if they listen to flac files

  • Good review! I also have these headphones... They are MONSTERS, love the sound they produce!

  • I really dont understand why people buy expensive Grado headphones to use them with a ipod .

  • @dhimanro yes you will need the Grado 1/4" to 1/8" adapter
