Voting "Present" the majority of the short time he was in the Senate doesn't show courage or leadership. He has NEVER gone against his party, so compromising might not be his long suit. But rubbing shoulders with criminals...that he has done and done well.
Working with an organization linked to voter fraud, (ACORN) - that he's done well. Ignoring his indigent brother in Kenya, that he's done well.
