not gonna lie though, this was an epic and badass fight and even though the annihilator beam kind of breaks the game combat-wise, I felt like I deserved it.

@FwamTom True. The Spider Guardian fight was more of a puzzle than an actual fight. You can't hurt it at all, except through alternative methods.

@FwamTom There was always a bit of tension for me when fighting him too. Took me a good hour when I was on the 3rd stage of the boss, mainly because my health was constantly dropping to dangerous levels and I kept screwing up the placement of when your supposed to activate the bomb slots.

When the wii version came around, he was completely laughable, due to the easier control scheme of the morph ball. xD

I actually figured out a strategy to make the fight easier.

Find 5 energy tanks, and when possible, spam him with the light beam.

When I finally beat him, it made all the other bosses way to easy.. xD

Ahh the Boost Guardian was a huge pain but I think the Spider Guardian was always the one I feared fighting the most, no matter how many times I've beaten the game.
