Finally a 973 video! So here we have the loader cutting around a manhole base for the first lift. As you can see we are chewing out the walls to have enough room for the loader to work its way around as well as the packer. Once the loader has dug its way around one side, you can see I go around to the other, dig out there and the lift is complete and ready for packing.

    Stanley cup

  • @533nick Yeah that whole stringing random words together just ain't workin chief.

  • do you use a pipe leaser to get the grade for the pipe or is this a hi preasure main and layed level ? it seems a deep trench for a 15 inch pipe is that to proctect it from frost.

  • @533nick we use laser's for laying grade or sometimes batter boards of the depth of the excavation allows. The depth of the ditch depends on the grade needed for water to run. We don't use lift stations here very often so everything is layed to grade.

  • enuf said good video any ways thanks

  • what kind of controls do you use, if possible make quick vid of them workin. all these little noises and clickin got me wondering!

  • Not something we see in the Republic of British Columbia is trackloaders, look back at the 1980s they were common as mud.

  • Can't believe how much play that tilt cylinder has in it. In there for a reason or Cat engineers wouldn't have designed it that way
