Why does anti-Semitism exist? Probably a combination of two factors. The first is the principle of vicarious punishment: that God renders the iniquities of the father upon the child. One recalls the mob around Jesus "calls for the blame to be apportioned to their children" or so. Then there's the issue of usury, which was banned for Muslims and early Christians, so they borrowed money from Jews. Combine Christianity and Nationalism? Disaster! I'd prefer worker ownership of means of production.
