@chadders42 erm no they don't. the tourist administration office said that the income the monarchy bring in tourism is 'neligible'. also it's not the monarchy who bring money it's the castle's and palace's that could still be kept. afterall how many tourist's actually see the monarchy.

@NISHOYINGWENMA The polling was rigged by state control of the TV telling the Scots who to vote for. The media lies when discussing independence - telling the lie that the SNP supports Scottish national independence when in fact they don't. A disappointment for the royalist SNP is a good thing - the only problem being that other parties who support the union crown got elected. Scotland will survive come what may but will only thrive without THE QUEEN.

@rosiemary You should not be supporting the royalist SNP but be supporting true Scottish national independence of the Scots via a Scottish republic. The Queen and the monarchy has the power to stop a republic. It is one or the other. So long as their is a kingdom it stops there being a republic. The Queen rubber stamps all power to the government and the state - it is the people who have no power. We need a head of state who doesn't allow the government to turn the people into slaves.

@thebigJM92 The Queen has lots of experience of doing a bad job. Like Dr Harold Shipman had lots of bad experience of being a doctor and your Queen's governments thought he was doing a good job while murdering his patients.

Her Majesty's governments do a rotten job of running the universities and the election of the government is rigged to exclude real republicans.

The Americans go to Disney Land as well but they don't make Mickey Mouse their head of state either.

@ElvisSingsCondi The media uses hyperbole quite regularly when discussing Scottish independence. At the end of the day, the polling showed for itself. The SNP faced a huge dissapointment, missing there target by miles! It has been shown by RELIABLE, UNBIASED polls most Scots do not want to be independent from England, they are just less likely to speak up as nationalists are. Scotland could never survive without England, despite the lies the SNP spouts.
