  • Devers has such a big heart!! a great champion

  • I'm not sure she would have, Privalova was the only one I've ever seen with a better start than her - it would have been really close that's for certain and Gail showed her class afterwards

  • @oFlashoPoetryo Gail is actually known for GROWING her nails that long. She's spoken about it in many interviews that they are real. After almost having her feet amputated due to Graves disease, she started growing them as a way to show herself that she was healthy. She mentioned that in an interview in 1999 during the world champs when asked why she cut her signature finger nails.

  • Um whats funny to me is that everyone is ignoring the 15 inch acrylic nails shes sporting in this race ahaha. She got her hair AND her nails did for this race.

  • Frederique Bangue returns to sprint :) !!!

  • I really don't think so...

  • I agree, she and Gail Devers had the best starts ever.

  • I have to agree. Privalova always had great starts. Extremely powerful out of the blocks, and normally lead 100m races until the last 20 meters more or less. She had the unfortunate timing of running in the same era as Gwen Torrence, Merlene Ottey, Gail Deavers, Christina Aaron. Still, Privalova is one of the best ever

  • Do you think Gail still would have won?

Im such a fan of hers.
