Everybody can see what Gandhi had to say if they're willing to do their research. It was basically required of him to make it known for the sake of his movement. I'm not sure whether it would definitely be my choice, but I think I might have picked Miles Davis. Every time someone interviewed him, they asked stupid (and often cluelessly offensive) or boring questions because they didn't know what they were talking about.
