Horowitz or Kissin has nothing on this one im so sorry to say that. Cziffra was considered thee best interpreter of Liszt. he actually so good that everyone literally thought he was the reincarnation of Liszt. true fact.

Best way to celebrate Liszt'200th birthday anniversary. Talent and passion, unique, never forgotten, go to Senlis!

It's so nice when Cziffra is being musical and not showoffy. So many mannerisms I find indecent, he doesn't do in a piece like this.

This is really something! Master Cziffra does an outstanding performance here. Despite the ornamentations he uses now and then he gives this polonaise a majestic and titanic meaning. You can actually picture as if Liszt was playing. He is so accurate that not even Horowitz could match this. To bad this video has a relatively low view numbers. Two thumbs up for this video!
