The will of the Canadian people was thwarted by a dysfunctional electoral system. Only 24% of eligible Canadian voters elected this majority government. The Conservatives hid from the electorate by refusing to attend all candidates' forums during the campaign, Harper refused to answer media questions about where cuts would be made to slay the deficit, the public was not welcome to his events, he was found in contempt of parliament.....the will of Canadians is not reflected in the parliament.
