Amber Tamblyn read some poems at Derrick Brown's farewell party at The Groove record store in Nashville on May 17, 2008. After the long rambling intro, she reads "Hate: A Love Poem".

  • Talented, beautiful, sexy, smart and funny - Amber's got it all! And brown eyes that can melt your heart... Is there any more of her reading her poetry?

  • Yes! She read two other poems that I have on tape but I'm waiting until I can capture my remaining video on Firewire instead of wretched, wretched USB.

  • She shouted "Poetry" to the announcer guy.

She made that Derek guy her bitch.

And I'd hate to be the guy she wrote the poem about!

    Man she's good.

  • The Russell Girl raging. Beautiful Amber.

  • This is shit.

  • Anger issues much? Seriously though, this young woman is massively talented and seems to make few if any compromises in her view of life. So refreshing after hearing the endless parade of bimbos in the tabloids and what passes for news reports these days. Go Amber!

  • Generally I kind of shy away from poetry (in spite of being a writer) cos I find a lot of poetry quite dry and disjointed but THIS... no this is brilliant. Amber is supremely talented.
