You need a circuit with 12-15 amps on it - check and see if you are running other high current devices or are plugging into a 10 amp circuit.

Try to plug it into a circuit that does not have a refrigerator, washer, dryer, microwave, or other household item plugged in that may be drawing current.

  • When you release the trigger how long can you pause for, the water has to go somewhere, so how long do you have before the trigger has to be pressed again? and what happens if you forget to press the trigger?. Thanks.

  • Hello Ozzy:

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. When you release the trigger, you can walk away for as long as you like. The electric pressure washer has a device called an Automatic Total Stop System. This device senses pressure build-up in the pump and immediately stops the pump (by stopping the electric power to the pump)

  • (part two, i write too much) from running, and this prevents pressure build-up and water from overheating. If you forget to come back and pull the trigger (for example, you are done washing your car, and just unplug the machine) the pressure will remain "built up" in the system, and it will be VERY hard to remove the high pressure hose from the pressure washer!
