This is not a song by or about Tom Morello, who calls himself The Nightwatchman. It is a song called 'The Nightwatchman', by a band named 'The Duckworth Lewis Method', and the whole album is about cricket. The Nightwatchman is a lower-order batsman who comes in to bat higher up the order than usual near the end of the day's play.

'The Nightwatchman' is Tom Morello on his own as a solo artist, (he is excellent). His colaboration with Boots Riley is called 'The Streetsweeper Social Club'.

@Scientician Actually Tom Morello's solo work acoustic and some other stuff is released under the title The Nightwatchman. His collaboration with Boots Riley is released under the name Street Sweeper Social Club.

Also Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine teamed up with Boots Riley of the Coup to form a band called the Nightwatchmen, to advocate revolution apparently.
