Im currently getting 15MPH 16 if i drive normal and with the windows up, with your stock cats and a cherrybomb extreme the exhaust volume would most likely increse some with the muffler case so small, how loud and how does the 40 sound on your truck? the magnaflow cat kit was $248 though Summit racing.

yeah I think I'm averaging about 18 mph or a little less since I have a heavy foot. The 40 sounds alright, it sounds good on a cold start up and when it's warming up but when I'm actually driving around or if I turn the truck on while the engine is still warm it's just not the loud aggressive sound I wanted. A buddy of mine recommended if I ever change the muffler to get a bigger tail pipe for it to be louder.

SICK TRUCK!!! I have one also all stock inside and out but it's not as clean as yours. I was wondering though, I've got the original cat's on there still and an original 40 series flowmaster on there. If I were to take off the flowmaster and put a Cherry Bomb on there would you say it would make it louder or would a complete exhaust upgrade give me that loud aggressive sound like yours that I'm looking for?

Its quick great acceleration, its not real fast wih the stock (302) , waiting till it dies to install a new crate powerplant. 15/16 MPH mixted

If your cats are not clogged i would leave them, if thay are replace them with high flows, With your cats the tone/volume will be quieter than mine even though i have high flows.
