Ketchikan, Alaska - June 2009

Video captured at Ketchikan, Alaska - a port of call while cruising aboard the Norwegian Pearl in June 2009. Sea planes were a popular attraction at all ports of call but this video captures some of sea-plane action. Ketchikan was my personal favorite for all stops. My only regret was the limited time we had to explore the quaint little town. The video ends with a beautiful Alaskan sunset taken from the fantail at 10:00 pm.

Looks like you never even left the docks! No wildlife, no native culture, no locals! The sunset was pretty though.

@SweetLady68 You are correct, we did not explore much past the docks because my wife was in the last year of her life after discovering she had a brain tumor. I was thankful to just have the opportunity to have her with me for this wonderful trip.
