The trouble with constantly changing her costumes with the times is that they will look dated later on. Superman's basic costume doesn't look dated, and Supergirl's original all blue from her early days is still the best.

Great video of the one I consider to be th only Supergirl, Lind Lee Dnavers, Post _Crissi Supergirls are all flawed up, Nowadays I Go for Power Girl, But the original Supergirl , maybe unnecesarily kiled in 1985 by the Anti Monitor(one of tha worse character of all time), still is high in my fandom.
