i haven't listened to them since monday morning apocalypse, just some snippets from torn which i didn't like, and this song brought me back on track with evergrey. apparently they're still kicking, eh?

@Rattlepiece Thats's a subjective view as well. I suppose the only point of making comments is venting your subjective view in the first place, so both of you should go right ahead! As for me, I get what Frozen222 is saying rationally, but I am not sure my feeling about this song agrees with my mind. While they fight it out inside of me, I just sit back and listen to it again.
Going to see them live for the first time (shame on me) next month. Yay! :-)

Alright really? That song builds on anticipation then for a chorus we get "Dah dah dah dah... we'll leave it behind us..." in probably a completely different key and not catchy at all. So what was the point of that wonderful build if they're gonna kill it right when it mattered? I HATE it when bands do this, like they don't know where to go with, what should of been, the best part of the song. Instead, we get something boring. This could've been a memorable song.

I like this kind of dark power/prog metal, i really enjoy them.

Torn was also very good!!! i believe the only album that doesn't sound well enough like the others is Monday Morning Apocalypse, even though it has pretty good songs!It also feels like they have lost the sense of progressive in their sound after The Inner Circle... Anyways, Glorious Collision still an awesome album! So can't wait to hear it live!!!! :D
