I'm sorry if you've already answered this, but-

I have extremely thick hair. it is kind of wavy. Whenever I curl my hair, no matter how much hairspray, it always falls flat and straight in an hour. I spend about 2 hours curling my hair, and it lasts MAYBE 30 minutes.. How can I get my hair to curl and HOLD all day? any product reccommendations? I get beyond frustrated. Please help!!

Such a good tutorial! I love the advice "curl away from your face"... made such a difference! Also, curling from the middle of the strand and then releasing the iron to get all the layers in: GENIUS! Thanks, my hair looks amazing :)

Is it bad to wash your hair every day or something? My hair is really fine and so it gets greasy really fast if I don't wash every day. You said you don't wash more than twice a week or so though. Does washing too often damage your hair?
