Despite unpredictable weather conditions, President Benigno S. Aquino III went at the SMX Convention Center to visit the International Contact Conference and Expo 2011, hosted by the Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP).

The President was warmly welcomed by several contact center professionals and members of CCAP Board of Directors led by Executive Director Jojo Uligan. He inspected and viewed booths of different business process outsourcing (BPO) companies present in the on-going jobs fair.




In a brief message, President Aquino said that the administration's priority is to provide jobs to its citizens. With this, he thanked the industry for responding in this challenge through creating thousands of employment opportunities to Filipinos who aspire to be part of the outsourcing business. He also congratulated all members of CCAP for the significant contributions of BPO companies in the nations's economic growth. He assured that the government will aid the industry in achieving its Investment Priority Plan and regional expansion project.




With this year's theme, "Sustaining the Lead, Expanding Opportunities," CCAP intends to maintain the Philippines' title as one of the leading business process outsourcing (BPO) providers in the global market, together with China and India, through assuring unhindered progress of contact centers in the country.
