  • funny, the part he doesnt know what to say..:"lets not stop there"...ridiculous....man tell us what you think is that island in her arms, and that country in her eyes......I dont like what he says about his lyric....he says nothing about the meaning and keeps talking about I dont know what.....island in your arms-he can get away(no ship), her arms chain as he said.....country in your eyes-something huge....he sees her eyes that tell him something and cant get away cause it attracts

  • This guy is awesome (and it IS a gift to be able to eloquently analyze poetry) but when he was reading "She get high," all I could think of was Christopher Walken reading Poker Face. I'm sorry.

Great review! Great Song! Down with the doors of perception, up with infinite.

  • @TheDennisegg I interpret it as death.

  • Blues are stolen all the time. Mostly from black people from around 1929.

Aldous Huxley "The Doors of Perception" is where this tune came from . As a matter of fact, " There are things that are known, and there are things that are unknown, in between there are the doors." When are you coming to Lowell again and bring Ray too, my piano mentor.

  • @AntaresInScorpius its called Just Dance

  • they loved blake in the sixties! Visionary loonies spoke a lot of truth Eh?

  • I get high too!

  • i bought a new doors shirt

  • i pretty sure jim would be happy that his lyrics remind another of william blake :)

  • This song is all about the instant moment you die, when you "break on through" to the other realm that is.

Check out books and tapes by Robert A. Monroe to explore OBEs

it will forever change how you live.

    "We will survive physical death"
