Last week my blood sugar was low in Geometry. I couldn't focus and I almost fell out of my chair because my head was spinning. My teacher thought I'd fallen asleep and I almost got detention. It wasn't pleasant then but now it's kind of funny.

I'm hypoglycemic, seems to go LOW when it get's low. Usually in the 80 is when I start noticing that somethings not right, that i just have this weird feeling. Then around the 70-60s i'll get the shakes and sweating really bad on my arms and back. 50's i cant comprehend what's going on around me. 40's and below I have a seizure. Have had 6 in 3 years. Always have glucose tabs in my pocket w/ a glucometer. And a medical ID dog tag around my neck incase it happens in public.
I'm diabetic type 1 and I seem to have certain stages of (for lack of a better word) 'hypo-ness'. An early stage would probably be, increased breathing difficulty and minor shiverring, a mid-stage would be brobably the same only with ntense hunger, and if my BG like 2 or something, I get CRAZY shiverring, walking in a zig zag pattern, and feel as if I'm in a dream (I.e. I can head straight for a wall, see it crearly, but not exactly notice it).

@Adamdre Thanks for the comments. I don't think I've walked into a wall yet but I remember being so confused that I couldn't turn my light on when I went low in the middle of the night. 'Hypo-ness' is a good word...

I've been hypoglasimic since I was young and have gone into a coma before because of it. I'm thankful that my mother figured something was wrong with me and soon rushed me to the hospital. That was when I was first diagnosed.
The way I keep my self from getting low is mainly the tablets that I carry with me. I have used oranges before to fix my blood sugar followed by peanut butter and it does work.

@flyingkage I'm glad you have managed to get your lows in order, sounds scary that you went into a coma before, that must have been tough. Thanks for the comment!

I usually drink juice or glucose tablets but I always eat something substantial after so my sugar level doesn't plummet.

@VeryFairygirl14 Yeah, I have had my sugars plummet after a low. I find the pump has helped with this and it doesn't happen as much.
