jesus spoke in parables...its not that every man will understand it. u read the bible but u lack the beliefe, thats why God is not working in ur life. if u had the beliefe then u would see the amazing things that i do and all other christians.

@cccfish10221022 It is called self delusion. I have been there and done that. Finally after 40 years as a believing christian, I did some research into the origins of the bible and christianity. Neither is of divine origin. Christianity is nothing but the last great invention of the pagan world.

hiw bout this....go ahead and explain away all the people that die and come back to life and talk as if they just saw heaven or hell. these people remain changed thier whole lives. clinicaly dead...no heart beat, no brain activity for an hr or more and come back and talk about thier experience....explain thay away athiests!!! dont talk about what u dont know about in ur explanation! ..and the crowd is silenced!

For one thing. How do YOU explain that, Tiff? Why would a god of supposedly infinite powers have made millions of "separate" creations so much alike? Same structures, same bones, same muscles, same DNA, even the same genes? Why do all apes (including humans) and Old World monkeys ALL have 32 teeth if we don't share a common ancestor, while New World monkeys all have 36? Why would your god do that?

Can you tell US why such people see Allah and the prophet Mohammed when they die if they're Muslim instead of Christian? Why don't Muslims and other non-Christians who have near-death experiences universally come back praising Jesus and instantly convert?

I couldn't put it better myself: it's this god person's fault. He's either buttered the ball and dropped it by being too dense for the creatures depending on the clarity of his message for salvation, or he's nothing but a cosmic version of the Riddler playing "jerk off Batman" with all of humanity. In either case, the fault lies with him.

I believe in a lot of things, but because they've been explained to me and shown to be real. That's true for you too in nearly everything in your life but this. Why the one big glaring exception?

@masterDization its not that none will suffice, its that religious people can not, EVER, give even ONE shred of evidence even though they have been trying for 2,000 years and find nothing but evidence against their claims. not only have believers failed to convince us, they have did their best in convincing us that they are in fact wrong
