For another English assignment, I was assigned to read a non-fiction book, give a short speech about it and provide some sort of visual such as a slideshow or poster. I decided to create a video for the book by Allen Rucker which I read, The Best Seat in the House. In the book, he tells of how he was instantly paralyzed from the waist down one Tuesday. I used clips of one of my favorite shows, Lost, because Terry 0' Quinn seems to portray Allen Rucker very well and he plays John Locke who used to be in a wheelchair.

The music is Mad World by Gary Jules which I had to edit to make it shorter.

  • I read the book it was very good.

I really like your video it captured the feeling of despair of suddenly finding yourself being a wheelchair user. TM is hard to come to terms with, there is no accident to blame and for most no underlining reason. I would like to say to people watching this video, that yes there will be times you feel like this

; but there will also be times to laugh and smile regardless of the wheelchair.

  • ahhhha i love this song i believe i first heard this from that gears of war commercial great clips too from lost havent seen it in a while though great job!
