what ever buddy. these are the fish the japanese market are after, not the larger ones that you speak of, which we also catch on the northern edge and down east, 600 to 1000 lbs. We get less money for the larger fish and so our quota is worth less if we catch them. maybe you can see the larger picture, common are you really a fishermen, you sound like a land lover, possibly even a city dweller...

at 59 seconds in this video you are asked to adjust the reel and take it off of strike..you say "how do i do it"you have a lot of awesome videos wit giants.just surprised me to hear you say that with all the experience you have..

sorry if I seemed like an amature at the time. I was on summer break from university and the old guys wouldn't let me around the fancy new rods much. Before this we went with handlines and balloons and it was much tougher.

we were fishing in a place called the hell hole, and they usually average about 350 but it can vary. we just got back from a trip where we caught six bluefin and none of them weighed over 300
