Maybe the Quattro is better than the 037 but Lancia wins outright with all it's other quality cars.

The reason the 037 looks alive is that it is RWD, the Quattro was the first 4wd/awd car in the WRC. The pre-cursor's to the famed Group B era (they were both technically Group B spec, but the silliness didn't get into full speed until a year or two later)

I agree with all your statements except "simple and straight foward". Working on German cars today is very hard because the Germans over-engineer everything which in most cases is not needed...

I drive a VW Passat which is a mix of Audi and VW and I work on it myself...

The lancias look like they're alive. IMO, they're the better car. Sure the Audis are technically faster and more reliable but they're boring, cold, clinical, understeer-ey things. I want soul and passion.

@gutted1504 I'd rather have the 037. Soul and passion > cold, emotionless technology spam every day of the week. I don't care if six of those days are spent with the hood up, I have my F150 to use when I need something reliable.

@gddctr hahaha nah mate im australian, i wouldnt drive a yank shitheap if you paid me, i drive a lancia actually, but id have a quattro in a heartbeat! or an rs6 avante. now THAT would be a cool thing to pick up the groceries in! but over all? new stratos any time, if you havent seen it check it out.
