Wow, ok, so according to this, this would explain why all girls "Think" They are in LOVE with that abusive guy even though he treats her like crap?? So then..now what!? If I treat a girl right = No Dissonance = No feeling that I am worth something. If I treat a girl like crap = Dissonance = she will feel like I am worth something!? Fuck this life sucks ass!! :/

My idea for a better society is, let the people on the lowest end of the totem pole rule the people on the top. This is were cognitive dissonance come into play for the global elite. They make the people on the bottom into slave by giving them false incentives to do they're bidding.

That's why Mayer Amschel Rothschild said, "Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes her laws."

We need a system of governance that isn't corrupted by this.

Not quite the same. Cognitive dissonance is the conflict of 2 opposing thoughts, usually leading to the preexisting thought prevailing over the other more recent thought, due to some justification on the part of the subject. In doublethink, there is no such conflict, so 2 conflicting thoughts can 'peacefully' coexist in the subject's mind.

No, women who stay with abusive men have fucking Stockholm syndrome. They're mentally weak.

So basically cognitive dissonance is lying to ourselves so that we feel better about the situation

All western women have cognitive dissonance between their intrinsic reproductive submissive behavior, and their socially programmed dominant behavior. That's why romance novels sell so much. The extremely dominant male allows her to to surrender herself sexually to him, while remaining dominant in relation to the rest of her life.

So if the $1 dollar is insufficient of a reward don't the students just tell the truth and not lie?
