  • Wow r they twins? :-)

  • @minecraftstarful No, they were born two years apart in 1937 and 1939, Phil on the left is the younger, and Don the older, it will be Dons 75th birthday tomorrow February 1st.

  • The Arranger, some fellow born in 1919, thinks the cornball horns will "sell it" to the adults in front of the TV. But the guy they hired "wasn't so hot". I want to smack him on the forehead til his toupee falls off. Ok sorry, he's just doing his job. - I just want to have him sit this one out and let Chet Atkins do the arrangement. As usual for this period the brothers sang perfectly & played in that way that foreshadowed modern rock.

  • HeHe, you are SO RIGHT!

  • I thought there was another verse.

  • Yes you are right, "the movie wasn't so hot, it didn't have much of a plot, we fell asleep, our goose is cooked, our reputation is shot."

  • Never heard this version before, but the person responsible for adding the idiotic horn section and sax arrangement to this American classic should be taken to a place outside of town and summarily shot.

  • In 1958 when this song came out it was banned from air play on numerous radio stations around the country for being pornographic. A girl sleeping with her boyfriend.. dumb but true

  • @MikeHudson65 Yes, when exactly did they perform on the Moon? Actually the video quality of Neil Armstrong is better.
