New #2 World record Black bear taken in Pennsylvania 2010 A bear was shot November 15th 2010 with a crossbow in northeastern Pennsylvania (Pike County). 875 pounds live weight and 744 dressed, #2 in the WORLD and a new PA State Record. He missed the world record by 4 pounds......

and these sick infatuated with their blind love for their lion/tiger people actually beleive that a bear like this wouldn't absolutely ANIHILATE any lion or tiger. it wouldn't even be a fight the big cat would be dead in under 60 seconds!!!

I have heard so many stories aboaut this bear, i feel bad for the lucky guy that took him, To the man that took him, great fricking job man thats as good as it gets!

Amazing, amazing bear. I have seen the pics all over of it. However, the PA and world records alike, are based on skull size and nothing to do with weight. Especially Est. live weight. A bear that mammoth could have as much as a 20-50lb varience in est. live weight from dressed weight. Like I said, i would give almost anything to even encounter a bear like this, but all bear records are based on skull size. Thanks for sharing!!
