I love the island so much, I don't think I could ever leave it. (Unless there was some damn good money waiting for me, of course.) My brother has lived there since 2001, along with my parents and my sister. So has my other sister. My dog lives there too! I like the trees, I like the water, and I LOVE the community spirit! Isn't Whidbey Island GREAT!?

I lived there from 1977-1981...it was absolutely gorgeous and I think about the place almost every day for some reason or another...I would, like some others here, love to go back and relive it...I'd love to be there with what I know now...I'd really live it up

I lived on Whidbey Island from 2004 to 2006.My hubby was in the NAVY,(VAQ-132) I agree.The island was a dream come true for me.I felt like a character out of a romance book.I would love to go back and re-live it all over again!!

my father was stationed out there and growing up out there was a true blessing, this video brings back so many wonderful memories. Between the pics and the music, I was in tears... ty for the effort put into this one!

Very nice! My younger brother and I spent much time growing up on Whidbey. Our grandpa had a great little cabin at Lagoon Point. We'd leave in the morning with fishing poles and not return until dinner - happy, tired, and excited about the next day. Great times back then.
