Here's another good old movie: sick lines, good riders, great music. Interesting that they talk about global warming affecting snow condition way back then. And please remember that Corrosion of Conformity wants YOU to vote. heh.

Riders on the Storm - Fall Line Films - 1992

Starring Shawn Farmer, Dave Seoane, Steve Graham, Dave Hatchett, Nick Perata, Craig Kelly, Noah Salasnek, Chris Roach, Terje Haakonsen, Mike Ranquet, Dan Donnelly, Tom Burt and John Cardiel.

Filmed in Alaska, Switzerland, Austria, South America, France, the Lower 48, Canada, Japan, Norway, Greenland

From the back of the box:

"Once again, winter brings together our group of friends to snowboard around the globe and toss in their opinions on current events such as the fall of western civilization and the deteriorating environment. More than just a movie about snowboarding, Riders on the Storm is 60 minutes of visual and audible ecstasy; a road trip from hell that you wouldn't trade the world for. The most pleasurable torture you'll ever have to put yourself through, Riders on the Storm is uncensored, unassailable and unquestionably the best thing we've ever seen.

Postman Bob: "The most interesting thing I've seen in 20 years I've walked this route."

Next-door neighbor Fred: "I knew something strange was going on in there."

Grandma Krehbiel: "It was nice. Would you like a cookie."

Spyke Lee: "Why don't you two get real jobs."

Produced, directed and edited by Gerry and Arty, Fall Line Films

Cameras: Arthur Krehbiel, Gerald Dugan, Mike Hatchett, Dave Seone

Music by White Zombie, Cadillac Tramps, Corrosion of Conformity, etc.

Design by Jeff Darnall"

  • "It had gone from savagery to the most dominating force in the ski slopes today"

Those wigger kids today just don't know how bad ass snowboarding used to be...

  • These 4 films are the films that have affected the history of snowboarding forever:

    1. Western Front

    2. Exile

    3. Critical Condition

    4. Riders on the storm

These Riders realy pushed the sport many years ahead. I know many young snowboarders now who can drop 720 very easily but they cannot even do a backside air!

True snowboarding is what we see in these films
