The Amercian ads sends the message across correctly -- PC nerd vs MAC edgy hip.
It doesn't seem to work in Japan. PC guy looks like MAC guy's employer. PC guy looks powerful.

It's not really explainable in english... It relies on the Japanese language, presisely why dubs fail at any humor.

I was a PC user up till 4 m ago. I could build them fix them didnt matter what was wrong blue screen of death you name it, but at the end of the day all I really wanted was something that works. If you buy a brand new car you dont want to have to open up the hood and tinker with stuff just to get it running

Wasn't the point of the advertising that the mac looks "cooler" than the Pc? But with all Japanese looking the same this is a classic advertisement-Fail. lol ^^'

I've been using Macs for my whole life. I have also been using PCs for about half as long (in school and such). For the things that I use the computer for, a Mac suits my purposes better. For others, PCs suit their needs. Everyone has different needs, so for you, PCs are better than Macs, but for me it is the opposite. Both systems have advantages and disadvantages over each other, and neither is better than the other.
