A bit of erroneous reporting here. There is a reason why the frogs killed each other; they were fighting for the water that was left at what is now known as Frog Pond.
On a side note, the opening standup could have been done in front of a frog statue. You asked "what's up with all these frogs?" I don't see any frogs in that shot, and if I wasn't from willimantic, I wouldn't understand what you were talking about.
