CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Head coach Frank Spaziani began practice in pads on Friday for his Boston College Eagles as he gets ready for his second season in charge at The Heights. One big storyline is the health of All-American linebacker Mark Herzlich, who successfully overcame a rare bone cancer last year to return to practice this spring. However, he has been diagnosed with an injured right foot and tests are being performed to determine if there are stress fractures that would keep him from returning by the team's season opener at home on Sept. 4 against Weber State.
