SHINOBI BLACK and WHITE ver.HD

SHINOBI BLACK & WHITE was created as TEI's remix of various inspirations including old ninja animations created by Sanpei Shiroto in the 1960s and kitsch "misunderstood Japanese stereotype" elements that one might see in Hollywood B-grade ninja movies. The visuals were honed into graphically beautiful scenes in every animated clip. The sound was produced by 0mb, a friend of TEI. In a graphically black and white SHINOBI world, Load, Geisha girls, novice ninjas, Chinese kung-fu twin girls and a Ninja boss who was turned into a toad were put together in a five-minute animation. The animation took a month to produce.



TEIが1960年代に放映されていた白土三平氏原作の忍者アニメに多大なリスペクトを受け、そこにハリウッドＢ級（またはZ級）の間違ったジャポニズムだらけの忍者ムー­ビーをリミックスすることによって生まれたのがSHINOBI BLACK & WHITE。どのカットを切り取ってもグラフィカルな美しさを持った作品に仕上がった。サウンドは全てTEIの友人である0mbによって制作された。
白と黒で描かれた5分のグラフィカル・アニメーションなSHINOBIワールドでは、殿様、芸者、下忍、中国功夫双子娘、そして蝦蟇変化をする頭領と、短編ながらも魅力あ­るキャラクターが詰め込まれた。
