  • Sometimes I train with my feyues and I really enjoy to train with it! Are they good for parkour? I think my evolution in parkour is slower than if I wear kalenji or other shoe, but with feyues I have never have the ankle thing!

What is you opinion about feyues? They are not dangerous for the knees?

  • @CrisVidBlog Feiyues are a good in between shoe. Not as good as barefoot shoes but not as bad as most shoes.

  • Hi, I have been doing Parkour for 3 years, but I have very bad feet over-pronation and fallen arches. I have to wear special shoes which offer plenty of support. I would love to try barefoot pk, however even walking barefoot begins to hurt me very quickly. Do you think that barefoot pk might just be not for me? Or should I attempt to work up to that. Also, is there a way I can contact Dr Kao about this? I'd love to see what shoes he would recommend for pk. Thanks.

  • @kclayt88 Go to vital balance chiropractic's website and send an email to Dr. Ken. Or if you are lucky, he might comment here. :)

  • @DemonDrills yeah i got the black aqua lites, same model as yours, everything you say in the video is true and its great but going from volleys to feiyues to these, the grip just seems terrible for things such as wall climbs and precisions. although i love the aspect of how light they are i just feel that the grip on the sole (the squares in each hexagon) has now dissapeared on the pad of my foot, and the V paint is already about half gone, just doesnt seem like theyll last the distance to me.

  • @GuyGoesParkour did you get the aqua lites? i've been wearing the same pair since september and they are just now getting close to the end of their life. if your's wore out that fast you can probably email VB and they will replace them. their grip isn't as good as Ariakes but it has been good enough for me.

  • @GuyGoesParkour i know you said you had to re learn precisions but i find that only on optimal surfaces is the grip of any use, which has made me quite dissapointed in the buy :/

  • @DemonDrills This video really piped my interest with these shoes, so i spontaneously decided to get a pair for my birthday, cost me $135 all up.

Ive done about 4 wallclimbs in them so far and ive found that they have almost no grip, and that the sole gets instantly destroyed.

i was just wondering if these happened to yours also? because on precision jumps im sliding everywhere even though ive been training in feiyues and my running technique is already the one that the vivo website suggests.

  • Been looking all over for a video in this context! thank you so much, now hopefully i can persuade some of the guys i know to start training barefoot/minimal with me!

  • solo es cuestion de tener buena tecnica y podras entrenar descalzo sin ningun problema!

  • Oh also, you look so different with a beard man!

Didn't realise it was you until someone told me ha ha, come a long way since the videos you used to post on UF.

  • Great video, was just discussing the benefits of this yesterday.

Been using Feiyues since 07 and wear Onitsuka Tigers* when I want to wear something with a bit of cushioning.

*Nice n thin! No fancy torsion bands or arch support etc.
