@TravellerFellow Deja Vu!

My favorite Doo Wop related song.

@Wolfsky9 I agree with you Sir, that the harmonies from Brian are superior than anything from Spectors productions. Only thinking on how about Brian was thinking when he wrote this, as I have heard that he wanted this one as a follow-up to "Be my Baby".
-
Vocals so lush it nearly defies belief. A beautiful work.

@Wolfsky9 I was 12 y/o, went into the Marines in '69 at age 17 ha ha ha

Always good to listen to after a bad day

@ClubViking63 Sir, " DWB" was written with KHJ DJ, Roger Christian, in early fall of '63, before Dallas, 11/22/63. It was the only song he ever did with Lyrics written 1st, & music made to fit them. " Be My Baby", Spector's Masterwork, was an inspiration, but BW never tried to copy Spector's overwhelming, " Wall Of Sound". The Harmonies are so note perfect--THAT's the true genius--& of course, BW's amazing Falsetto Lead. To this day, nothing has ever compared. Wolfsky9

@Wolfsky9 Sir Wolfsky, did not Brian say that he wrote this song for the now, convict P Spector?
Which will not take away Brian´s harmonies, simply just would make them as something to give away?
-
"Please Let Me Wonder" has unbelievable harmonies as well. The blend of all of their voices was magical, and Brian's soaring high notes simply put them over the top.
-
Simply put, one of the finest vocals ever--EVER, recorded, with harmonies from angels. Summer of '64, I was 17 y/o, going on 18, & lived to hear this on the radio. Boss Radio 950, KIMN, In Denver. Wolfsky9
