Parasailing

This was taken on Friday, July 17th, courtesy of my mom's iPhone. xD She really wanted some video of our parasailing escapade. This is me getting pulled in after my "free-fall dip" (aka, let the rope go slack and I gently fall to the ocean).

*random mumbling by people on deck*
Captain (not the guy in the white hat): How was that?
Me: *something incoherent*
Captain: How was that? Pretty cool?
Me: *mumble something something* You almost dipped me next to the sting ray!
Captain: Yeah, I saw him; he was right next to ya.
Me: YEAH! (as in "yeah, no sh*t!")

Yeah, there was a manta ray ('bout 5 foot wingspan) swimming near our parasailing spot. You could see him while you were up there. It was so cool! The captain also pulled up beside him at the beginning of the trip (while my mom was up in the air and I was in the boat). He was pretty awesome to look at. owo

I totally thought I'd be one of those people whose video got sent to America's Funniest Home Videos. Luckily the two guys knew what they were doing! Funnily enough, we got the idea to go parasailing (well, my cousin did) after WATCHING America's Funniest Home Videos where we saw all those good funny parasailing mishaps.
