what Paul is refering too, is that the person thought ray charles was cheap, because his band members had to share a cigarette...when actually, they were in the bathroom stall sharing a joint.....ahhhhhhhh, the good ole days...lol

in interviews and stuff Paul always seems self absorbed, and with a giant ego, always wanting to talk about himself. With all the attention he gets I'm not surprised

George Martin once said he wasn't bothered that the Beatles smoked pot - he himself enjoyed a dry martini or two - he just didn't want them being stoned for sessions. In his book, he told the story of when as a producer in the 1950's he showed up for a session after knocking down a few drinks and the artist walking out of the session. A lesson he never forgot.

it's not a very low note what he sings there (George) in -nowhere man- he sings lower notes perfectly; in both cases Beatles voices sounds amazing... I think John and Paul must be on higher notes because of the punch they had... and george sings more calm, so it's ok that he is on the bass... anyway sounds terrific!! there were no auto-tune in those days, and they are never out of tune making voices...
