"Seven" brand sling tutorial

Here's my new "Seven" brand sling! I'm not the only one who felt a little overwhelmed by using one of these slings for the first time and whipped up this little video to help a friend from afar. Once you get it, it's very easy and a great sling to use. I feel that my baby is very close and tight to my body.
Here I'm demonstrating how to use the side/hip carry, which is recommended for older babies who know how to sit on their own. LIttle babies would use the cradle position or what I call the "sitting buddha" where they're cross legged and facing forward.

Do you mind if I ask what size you are using? And if its a comfy fit when the baby is actually inside? I did the measurments like the site said, and ended up with a size 3. It is way too tight. I can send it back once and was debating what size I should get, so if you could answer it would really help. Thanks :)

@jhellyer2010 I used the sizing on the website as well and ended up with a very, very snug fitting sling. It worked fine while my baby was tiny (and she was really tiny, being born early) but now I can't fit her in it at all. I realize now that I should have a bigger size. I can't remember now, but it's a size 5 or 6 (I'm 5ft 5" and 190 pounds, size 16) I think this carrier would fit a woman more petit that myself.

This helped me so much, seriously, Seven needs to have more detailed instructions. If they mentioned the black tags in the instructions, I would have felt far less is stupid!

Thank you!! I've read the directions over and over and found out after watching your video that I've used it wrong!! The instruction booklet which came with the sling is horrible. Thanks again for taking the time to post this video.

This was super helpful! I just got my sling and I could not figure out the instructions at all. I also bought a size 6 and it just feels so tight but the baby seems happy..so if I need to buy a new one I guess I will at a later date

Thanks. It's incredible the company doesn't have a basic "how to use" video. The instructions are fairly painful.
