My second DWYB day at Santa Pod and my first in an E30 Beemer. Was a 325i SE, now been converted to a 2.7 with 325i sport close ratio gearbox, Schrick cams, E30Zone chip, adjustable GAZ suspension, strut bar, stainless steel backbox and of course a welded diff.
Nice Drift, Im taking my e30 325 touring there soon on a DWYB day. I have a question though which gear do you find you keep it in the most? first to break the traction then second or just leave it in second and flick it? Cheers! :)

On the play pens 1st gear, on the kidney tracks 2nd gear all the way. I've not tried the large track yet, however I intend to this Saturday and I'm thinking that will be mostly 2nd gear, with probably 3rd gear on the fastest bit.
I did a few skids in my mates E30 320i on the same day and even in that it was 2nd gear all the way on the kidneys; just took more clutch kick to get it going. I found that working the gears just made things more complicated, especially as I'm very much an amateur.
