Something you need to do first (unless you already have decent speech) Pay him the gold to tell you the truth and then this glitch should work. Hope this helps anyone thinking its patched.

@Mesa683 my speech was 24, i had to pay. when it got to 25 i didnt. so i guess speech has to be at 25
