majority of marijuana users do not develop addiction: they do not experience loss of control; they use when they choose to, in the amounts they choose to, getting the results—in general—that they intend to get. Parents of today certainly recall many acquaintances from college who smoked marijuana without developing dependence or any other long-term negative consequences. just because addiction doesnt occur in all users, even most users, doesnt mean that addiction doesnt happen to any user.

The fact that there are people called "Pot-heads" which is a person addicted to Weed totally destroys your argument. Also weed is addictive, it gets you "high", which in turn causes you to wanted to get a "high" sensation all the time. If it wasn't addictive, there wouldn't be such a big market. And those college buddies are probably still smoking weed behind closed doors, which is funding violent drug cartels.

Coolguy, major studies say its "relatively nonaddictive" these are studies tax dollars paid for, they dont say that about other drugs, aspirin is addictive as well and kills people. the cartels are making money off our laws just like the mob did during alcohol prohibition. We stopped that prohibition to stop the violence. In any case the "addiction" you refer to is not enough reason to keep it illegal, even if it were as addictive as the killer cigs or booze that we enjoy legally every day.

i dont see why ppl get so pissy about folks smoking weed. potheads are everywhere. more ppl smoke than you think. youd be surprised. we are in your office, your neighborhood, and your supermarkets when we get the munchies. but youd never know because IT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING BAD TO YOU!!! if you ever tried it you would know its not such a big deal. so go smoke a couple bowls and calm your ass down.

I was merely commenting on the beauty of the creation of marijuana in comparison to other drugs. Beauty is subjective, and I personally think that gardens of marijuana are pretty.
