OMG the solution to fix the economy lets take gays rights away so they will magically turn straight and make more kids they cant feed thats just pure genious right there!!!

By your logic, an elderly couple should not be allowed to marry either, since they also will produce no children. Honestly, this stuff is just ignorant.

The fact that a majority of people voted to ban gay marriage is irrelevant. To pose this proposition demonstrates a lack of understanding of fundamental US constitutional rights. Her's why: If 99.9% of a population voted to deny me the right to, say, vote, it wouldn't make it legal. You can't vote my rights away. Rights are protected in our constitution in large part TO PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF THE MINORITY.

What a freaking moron this creature is! All religious nuts are just nuts!

"gay marriage means less birth rates" Gay people are not going to be fucking the oppisite sex because gay marriage is illegal, sounds to me like you are simply trying to justify your prejudice.

What a complete fucking stupid dumbass!

I'm sorry but I find you to be utterly stupid. Listening to you just pisses me off. What you need to understand is there needs to be separation of Church and State. You are entitled to your belief ( regardless of how stupid) but imposing it on others is wrong. Keep your damn religion views out of politics.

well said :)
lol
Um... no, a church can deny the marriage in a religious sense. But marriage is also a legal institution. A married couple has rights that are different from two people that just live together. Once you take away the right to legal marriage you take away those rights afforded to a legally married couple. The religious institution of marriage isn't involved here. At least that's not what I meant.

What the... what do you mean it has nothing to do with politics? Of course it does. If, by being gay your rights are restricted then of course its political. For example if you want to legally get married as a gay couple and you cant then that is a restriction on the rights of two people. It's not them forcing anything down anyones throat. Legal marriage is a right for ALL citizens. And in a society that is about equal rights to all people this is a political issue.
