@ConsumerFanatics Interesting, thanks! And I had to look up YMMV, lol never heard that before

@MrKemokixz17 No, I don't think this would help much with achilles.

@aburov1 Hi, thanks for watching. The EVO has a plastic cuff inside that gives it more rigidity/stability. It would help prevent a worse injury in the event of an accident. You don't notice the extra bulk, which is nice. However, as far as stability for you ankle during regular play (for me, bball), I don't notice it being better. In fact, I feel that I can tighten the regular one a little more than the EVO. So, if I were to buy again, I'd just get the regular one.

@ConsumerFanatics, can you elaborate more on the differences between the EVO and Previous Model? What makes the new model worth extra $15? Is it less bulky and more comfortable? I currently own mcdavid brace and it appears that EVO would be a major upgrade. Also, any hints on picking the right size?
i believe starting with the inner strap first avoid ankle rolling more so than starting with the outer. Thanks for the video and detailed review.

@gkBISON You're right, that is what MedSpec suggests. I'll provide an annotation in my video to correct. That being said, I've done it both ways and have not noticed any difference. And the representative at MedSpec says it really doesn't make a difference, but that was one person. I will always secure inside first going forward.

You mentioned in the vid the EVO was the best brace you've ever worn, but I notice in your comment above that if you were to buy again you'd get the orig. Do you still feel this way?

@MaxSk8rr You know, I keep going back and forth between the two. After I made that comment, I started using the EVO on my worse ankle (the one that needs surgery) and I feel it provides more stability. Maybe I broke it in a little bit to make it feel that way, I'm not sure. So, I guess at the end of the day, YMMV.
