$17,990. Serial #47959. This 1909 satin ebony luster Victorian Broadwood grand piano has been rebuilt and refinished. I decided to save the vintage soundboard because the piano sounded great in original condition. We did, however, change the pin block, the strings, and the hammers and shanks. I decided to use Abel hammers to get a crystalline bell like European sound. The result surpassed my expectations. This is a really good sounding piano. It will make some pianist very, very happy. Broadwood pianos are famous in Europe. They should be famous in the US as well.
Oxana is great, as usual, and the treble on this piano sounds wonderful

I grew up with a John Broadwood upright as young boy in 1954 back in South Africa. in 1982, it was discovered that the casing was cracking and the strings were going rusty ( had a cast iron frame ) and the kesy and hammers were in need of replacing. Cost of repairs were too expensive so opted for a magnicent Kawai KS2F which has done me well. Now its time to upgrade again

Wonderful!.....I also have a John Broadwood "Cottage Grand" piano that is about 170 years old. This piano does not have a metal frame, but instead it has a wood frame, thus, requiring it to be tuned up more frequently...

Oxana has magical fingers and a great mind controlling them. A gifted musician and that be for KOTT-TON PIKK-KON SURE if anything is.
